A CLASSIFICATION DANCE BASED ON IDEAS CONCEPT

There are 2 classification dances based on ideas concept :

1. TRADITIONAL DANCE

Traditional dance is a basic dance which has certain of rules. Traditional dance is an old dance, a hereditary legacy , and usually contains philosophical value, symbolic, and religious. Traditional dance consist of primitive dance (dance that developed in the territory which following animism and dynamism to revere ancestors), folk dance, and classic dance (dance that developed in the royals in Indonesia).

2. NON-TRADITIONAL DANCE

Non-traditional dance is a dance which stand on the existing rules. Non-traditional dance is a modern dance that express personal style. Creative dance is a new dance form developed from movements that already exist. Creation dance consist of traditional creative dance, modern creative dance, and contemporary creation dance.
